A tropical island vacation in Tokyo. There is a chain of islands off the Chiba peninsula, of which the one most well-known for surfing is Niijima (meaning New Island). The waves were utterly dead flat. You will spot a few here, but that is it.
Went out with some surf buddies, some colleagues from PB, roomate and friends. Overnight ferry plus two nights in a little Japanese-style B&B, good fun.
